This project developed a prototype application for validating and conditioning real-time synchrophasor data. This application works with the data and measurement characteristics themselves and does not require the power system model for operation. It is capable of extended data examination based on the power system topology which could be based on a model or individual line/bus sections. This application was tested with a simulation tool and demonstrated with actual power system data. It was provided to project participants for use on their power systems. EPG is now further developing the application for a WECC project that will include further conditioning with model-based conditioning using a linear state estimator (LSE).
